The core of our service relies on protecting your intellectual property. When you upload a document for a Turnitin check or AI Humanization:
- Global Databases: We use a commercial license configured to a strict "No-Repository" setting. Your document is never submitted to, saved in, or indexed by institutional databases. Checking a file on EliteWorks will not cause "Self-Plagiarism" when you submit it to your university.
- Personal Dashboard Storage: Processed files and generated PDF reports are stored temporarily in your private dashboard so you can download them.
- Auto-Deletion: You can permanently delete any document from your dashboard at any time. Furthermore, we routinely purge older files from our secure AWS servers to maintain data minimalism.
2. Information We Collect
We only collect information strictly necessary to provide and secure our services:
- Account Data: Email address and authentication data (handled securely via our auth provider, Clerk).
- Payment Data: Handled entirely by our secure processor, Stripe. EliteWorks does not capture, store, or have access to your full credit card numbers or banking details.
- Usage Analytics: Anonymous data on platform usage (e.g., page views, feature usage) via PostHog to help us improve the user experience.
3. Cookies and Tracking
