AML & KYC Policy

Anti-money-laundering & sanctions

Last updated: June 1, 2026

EliteWorks (FZC) is committed to preventing money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, and the use of our platform for any unlawful purpose. This policy summarizes the anti-money-laundering ("AML"), counter-terrorist-financing ("CFT"), and sanctions controls that apply to EliteWorks.

1. Scope

EliteWorks provides digital academic software, not financial or money-transmission services. Nevertheless, we apply risk-based AML/CFT and sanctions controls to our payments, accounts, and use of the platform, and we expect all users to comply with applicable laws.

2. Customer Due Diligence (KYC)

Payments on EliteWorks are processed exclusively through regulated third-party payment providers (for example, Stripe). These providers perform their own identity verification (KYC) and, where applicable, business verification (KYB) and transaction monitoring in line with their regulatory obligations. We do not store full card or banking details ourselves. We may also verify account information where needed to prevent fraud or abuse.

Crypto-based on-ramps are operated by regulated third-party providers who perform their own KYC/AML and settlement. EliteWorks does not hold, custody, exchange, or transmit virtual assets, and only receives the settled purchase amount for the digital credits you buy.

3. Prohibited Use

You may not use EliteWorks to:

  • launder money or conceal the proceeds of crime;
  • finance terrorism or any sanctioned activity;
  • commit fraud, including the use of stolen, unauthorized, or fraudulent payment methods;
  • evade sanctions or process funds on behalf of sanctioned persons or entities.

4. Sanctions & Restricted Jurisdictions

We screen for and do not knowingly provide services to individuals or entities that are subject to applicable sanctions (including UN, EU, UK, US/OFAC, and UAE lists), or located in comprehensively sanctioned jurisdictions. We reserve the right to refuse, suspend, or reverse any transaction, and to restrict or terminate any account, that we believe presents AML, sanctions, fraud, or chargeback risk.

5. Monitoring, Records & Reporting

Together with our payment providers, we monitor for suspicious activity and retain transaction records as required by law. Where we are legally obliged to do so, we will report suspicious activity to the competent authorities and may be required to do so without notifying you.
